I'm a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based freelance writer sharing stories about home design, travel and dining for national outlets including Thrillist, Business Insider and The Washington Post.

 

I graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism in May of 2014. Through Barrett, The Honors College I was able to concurrently earn my B.A. in Journalism and my M.A. in Mass Communications. I also earned a minor in Art History through the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts.

 

Since then, I've worked with several Arizona-based media outlets interviewing celebrities like Ashley Judd, Shane Doan, Kurt Warner, Vanessa Williams and Ira Glass.

I'm also a dedicated volunteer working with a variety of organizations including the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northern and Central Arizona, Homeward Bound, the Phoenix Alumnae Panhellenic Association and the Alpha Delta Pi Phoenix Alumnae Association.
